CREIGHTON ATHLETICS

Making a space to take flight.

On the heels of successful NCAA tournament runs for the 2016-17 Creighton Women’s Basketball and Volleyball squads—including an Elite Eight appearance—Creighton Athletics looked to improve its women’s athletics facilities. The DJ Sokol Arena and Ryan Athletics Center was renovated with all new graphics, lighting and displays to highlight the accomplishments of Bluejays teams, help tell the Creighton University story and create an experience for student athletes, fans and the entire Creighton community to enjoy.

the concourse.

Newly designed centerpieces in both concourses gave fans spaces to admire Bluejay legends and take pride in teams' accomplishments.

the SKY truly was the limit.

In collaboration with Brooklyn-based Shakuff, over 30 basketball and volleyball-shaped glass pendants were hung in the arena entrance, giving guests an unexpected welcome to the Bluejays' nest.
