On the heels of successful NCAA tournament runs for the 2016-17 Creighton Women’s Basketball and Volleyball squads—including an Elite Eight appearance—Creighton Athletics looked to improve its women’s athletics facilities. The DJ Sokol Arena and Ryan Athletics Center was renovated with all new graphics, lighting and displays to highlight the accomplishments of Bluejays teams, help tell the Creighton University story and create an experience for student athletes, fans and the entire Creighton community to enjoy.
Every aspect of the arena was
re-examined through a design lens, with the goal of creating a better overall experience for teams, students and fans.
